HVAC Service Technician Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. You’ll travel to clients’ properties to inspect, maintain, and repair their HVAC systems. This includes diagnosing issues, cleaning, adjusting, and ensuring everything is working efficiently. You’ll also help customers choose the best systems for their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain HVAC systems for safety and efficiency
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Perform routine maintenance and warranty services
• Keep track of equipment and inventory
• Follow safety standards and comply with all regulations
• Participate in training to stay updated on new systems
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• HVAC training or apprenticeship
• 1+ years of HVAC experience (willing to learn more)
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems
• HVAC technician license
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in tight spaces
• Reliable, self-motivated, and great communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours when required
• Rotating On-Call Schedule
