Morning Show Co-Host/ Digital Content Writer- KUSJ-FM

*This is a Full-time in-office position working closely and collaboratively with a Team*

Central Texas’ US 105/KUSJ has a rare opening for a morning on-air co-host and digital content creator. 

Townsquare Media/Killeen-Temple has an open opportunity for a strong on-air communicator to engage the audience of US 105, #1 for New Country.  Along with great on-air skills, we're looking for a capable content creator who will engage the US 105 audience online, through social media, and on our mobile app. 

Responsibilities

• Co-host morning drive on-air from 6am-10am, Monday-Friday. 
• Publish a minimum of two (2) original local articles per day on the station website and mobile app.
• Produce assigned social media posts.
• Daily commercial production. 
• Conduct live remotes and appearances, and assist in special promotions and programming activities when needed. 

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels; multi-task; and handle pressures and deadlines.
• Skill in operation of control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment.
• Quickly become proficient in Zetta and Adobe Audition.
• Computer literacy in applicable programs and excellent verbal communication skills.
• Public speaking skills and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting.
• Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing.
