- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.
- Indepth knowledge of refrigeration systems components and controls including experience with ammonia refrigeration systems. o Applicants will be considered for Associate Refrigeration Technicians General Refrigeration Technicians and Sr Refrigeration Technicians level openings. o Leveling is determined during the interview process based on skillset knowledge and experience.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information processing daily work orders and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic plant equipment.
- Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
- Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
- Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
- Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
Requirements:
- Education: 1 year of industrial maintenance experience education (e.g. possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience.

Special Skills:
- Ability to lift push and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
- Ability to work in confined and tall spaces walk climb utilize a ladder operate a lift bend and stoop.
- Repetitive gripping pushing and pulling.
- Frequent overhead work.
- Temperatures inside the plant may vary from 25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be needed.
- Basic math skills including percentages fractions and measurements.
